ABOUT ME
Growing up in Orillia, I've come to know Sunshine City very well. I left to pursue an Honours degree in Psychology in B.C., but returned to raise my two boys in this amazing community to take advantage of all it has to offer, and to show them what I had at my doorstep growing up.
I felt real estate was a perfect fit to transition into because it allows me to reach out to the community and meet people personally, rather than staying in an office all day. Holding a CHRP certificate, I have a thorough understanding of contracts; as well as a background in government policy and research. My education helps with understanding different personalities, and fine-tuning the emotional side of real estate transactions to ensure that the process of buying and selling a home is a positive one from the beginning through negotiations to handing over the keys. I enjoy working with people, wanting to help them with their investment needs and finding their dream home or property in Orillia.
Being a REALTOR® will also allow me to see my goals come to life through my unwavering commitment to promoting positive growth within and around Orillia, but also keeping its original charm and community vibes alive. Working with those who share my passion and vision in preserving the natural beauty of Orillia's surrounding area, while contributing to the preservation of the city's biodiversity and sustainability initiatives, is what I'm passionate about.
When I'm not helping clients with their home search, you can find me volunteering within the community as an active member with the Canadian Federation of University Women association, where I advocate for women’s rights in the community. I've also participated in virtual home tours to raise money for scholarships, and I also volunteer with the Couchiching Conservancy which helps protect close to 15,000 acres of land within the region. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my boys golfing, skiing and supporting Orillia's community.
